Suncoast Catering Equipment specialises in the rental of commercial catering equipment either on a short or long term basis. Equipment includes but not limited to cooking, refrigeration, display, food preparation and ware washing equipment, benching and shelving. Short term rentals (weekends or more) are primarily cooking equipment e.g. gas deep fryers for school fetes, food and wine festivals etc.
The monthly rental income generates a constant return on current contracts for very little effort with only having to issue invoices each month and minor preventative maintenance on refrigeration about every 3 months. Future long term rentals will return a minimum of 6% per month on investment of new stock and more if using refurbished equipment, all the while retaining ownership of the assets.
The business also sells new and used commercial catering equipment and accessories to businesses of all sizes, event organisers, etc. All refurbished stock comes with a 3 month parts and labour warranty.
The business is located at Buderim and currently managed from owner’s residence with the 150m² leased premises used for storing and refurbishing used equipment. They do not hold stock of a new equipment.
The vendors are of the opinion that the business would best suit an owner/operator with some industry skills. It can be run under management, or a husband and wife team that have the abilities to grow business further.
