Historic Hotel ABM ID #3018

The Hotel is one of the historic landmarks of the NSW's central west. Built in 1865 ,originally an overnight stop for Cobb & Co coaches to Bathurst on the historic Cox’s route. It has preserved the character of its early days. Today, it is renowned for its fine beer, great food and intimate atmosphere. Featured in Rex Newell's book 'Famous Australian Pubs', the hotel offers fine food in charming surroundings - whether dinner by the fireside in Winter or a pub lunch under a spreading elm tree in Summer.
There have been some sensitive additions made to the building but the old rooms are fantastic with beautiful furniture and artefacts. (Mind your head in the doorways)
Unlike many pubs, you are made to feel welcome both by the staff and also the patrons in the bar. As is usual in the country.
Plenty of parking and seating including a verandah.
